These terms and conditions govern bookings, driver eligibility, permitted vehicle use, charges, support, and responsibilities for Goluxdrivee self drive car rentals in Kolkata. By booking or using a Goluxdrivee vehicle, you agree to follow these terms along with our privacy, refund, and damage policies.
Booking terms
The primary driver must hold a valid driving license, carry a government-issued photo ID, and provide any additional verification requested by Goluxdrivee before pickup. We may refuse handover if documents are expired, mismatched, incomplete, or suspected to be inaccurate.
A booking is considered confirmed only after availability is approved and the required payment is received. Rental pricing may exclude tolls, parking, traffic challans, interstate permits, fuel shortfall, excess kilometer charges, and any other payable taxes or statutory fees unless clearly stated otherwise at the time of booking.
The customer must inspect the vehicle at pickup and report visible concerns before the trip begins. By accepting the vehicle, the customer acknowledges the recorded vehicle condition, fuel level, accessories, and handover documents shared at pickup.
Use of vehicle
Goluxdrivee vehicles may be used only for lawful personal travel or approved business travel. The vehicle may be driven only by the verified driver or any additional driver specifically approved by Goluxdrivee during the booking process.
The vehicle must not be sub-rented, raced, overloaded, used for driver training, used for carrying prohibited goods, used for commercial passenger service, or driven by any person who is intoxicated, unlicensed, or otherwise not approved by Goluxdrivee.
The customer must operate the vehicle responsibly, obey traffic laws, avoid tampering with tracking or safety devices, and take reasonable steps to protect the car, documents, keys, and accessories during the entire rental period.
Time and charges
Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and must be approved before the scheduled return time. Unapproved late returns may attract additional hourly or daily charges and may also affect refundable deposits or future booking eligibility.
If the customer does not reach the pickup location within the allowed time or fails to complete required verification, Goluxdrivee may treat the booking as a no-show. Refunds and deductions in such cases will be handled according to the published refund policy.
The customer remains responsible for tolls, parking, traffic penalties, excess kilometer charges, additional fuel charges, outstation taxes, key loss, missing accessories, unusual cleaning, and any amounts that arise due to misuse, negligence, or breach of these terms.
Support and liability
The customer must inform Goluxdrivee immediately in case of an accident, theft, seizure, breakdown, or damage. The customer must not abandon the vehicle and must cooperate with instructions, inspections, claims, and documentation requested by Goluxdrivee or insurers.
Goluxdrivee may cancel, suspend, refuse, or recover a vehicle if these terms are violated, if documents are invalid, if payment fails, or if the vehicle appears to be at risk due to unsafe or unauthorized use. This is in addition to any applicable charges or legal remedies.
Goluxdrivee is not responsible for indirect losses, missed plans, business interruption, or personal belongings left in the vehicle. These terms are governed by applicable Indian law, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having authority over our operating location.
